Requirements:

  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Maintain a high engagement level.
  • Mechanical skills and knowledge of equipment and facilities functions ie. Equipment maintenance, plumbing, electrical, painting, and HVAC a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
  • Capable of effectively handling the physical demands of the job, which may involve heavy lifting, bending, or working from knees.
  • Ensure that safety standards of equipment are well maintained.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Routine facilities maintenance including repairing structural damage, plumbing, electrical wiring, building HVAC equipment, and other building systems.
  • Applying preventative maintenance and measures to the equipment and buildings to reduce the risk of future problems, includes, documenting, logging, and tracking of repairs and preventative maintenance measures, using equipment tracking software.

o inventory/label all current equipment parts.

o inventory/label all paint and finish materials.

o organize all current company tools from all club locations at warehouse. Set each GM with necessary hardware to fix small repairs (screwdriver set, socket set, Allen key set, adjustable wrench).

o Educate staff members on equipment easy fixes, and potential hazards.

  • Order parts and equipment as needed, review purchases with accounting prior to purchase.
  • Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries, diagnose issues and inspect completed work.
  • General building and equipment related projects, includes demolition and moving equipment.
  • Ability to travel to all 7 Catalyst Fitness locations and properties as needed. Company vehicle is shared. Gas stipend available for personal vehicle use.
  • Mechanical skills and knowledge particularly in equipment repair, general construction, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
  • Ability to navigate the internet and order parts is required.
  • Capable of effectively handling the physical demands of the job, which may involve heavy lifting, bending, or working from knees.
  • Excellent at interacting with others in a customer service environment to include members, staff, and suppliers.
  • Follows all CDC and state mandated cleaning/sanitizing and PPE protocols.
  • Maintain company vehicle, ensuring that it is properly equipped with required tools, and that the vehicle is properly maintained and serviced regularly.
  • Works when scheduled and adheres to attendance policies.
  • Adheres to company policies and guidelines as set forth in the company handbook.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements.
  • Maintain neat appearance and wear proper uniform and nametag while on duty. It is employee’s responsibility to maintain his/her uniform.
  • All other duties assigned.

Required:

Minimum of 5 year of facilities maintenance experience
